Brown Café is an 8x8" acrylic painting on canvas which was begun in 2006 in Arnhem, NL and completed in 2023 in Chicago. Dutch "brown cafés," so-called because they often feature dark wood interiors, are establishments where one can sit for hours with friends to enjoy conversation with a bite and a drink. Sometimes the best things come in small packages.
