This 1999 screen print on Arches 88 paper by Bruce Thorn is as low tech as it gets, with hand painted designs on the two screens and split fountain applications of ink on each pull. The artist was living in Portland, Oregon and enjoyed exploring tide pools on frequent visits to the Pacific coast. The tides revealed delightful detrious and live starfish, crabs, barnacles, sea weeds and amazing anemones. This was a small edition printed by the artist and there are still a few left.
